lifelongeducation.tech is a platform created to facilitate access to a large audience to online courses and educational materials from different life areas, specifically those related to personal development and financial growth.

III. Terms and conditions to use the lifelongeducation.tech website

To be able to use the services available via the website, you need to create a personal account on the website. To do so, please click on the „Create Account” button and follow the subsequent steps. You have the obligation to provide all the required information and to fill in completely and correctly all the fields, with real and accurate information, as it appears on your ID.

The account can be accessed via a password known only to you. You are the sole responsible for keeping the password safe, as well as for keeping safe the enrollment, login and account details. One user account grants access in the programme to only one person. You have the obligation to not communicate your login data to a third party or person.

Any individual that is at least 18 years old can create an account on the website, regardless of nationality. We deliberately do not allow individuals under the age of 18 to create accounts that give them access to the website content. Any minor who will access the website directly or helped by their tutors/legal representatives will do so under the sole responsibility of the tutor/legal representative.

The website can be used exclusively for watching the content, creating and accessing the personal account, accessing the available services on the website, and recommending our services. The website cannot be used for illegal or fraudulent payments, for posting or sending materials with defamatory, threatening, obscene, indecent, instigating content or any other type of content that is similar. We reserve the right to not approve such posts and to delete immediately and without previous warning any comment posted on the website that contains inappropriate language or serious grammatical/writing errors, any comment that could prejudice the image of or cause discomfort to the materials’ authors, to the clients and to the visitors. We reserve the right to shut down the website without prior notice to the users. We reserve the right to freely establish collaborations with specialists that will deliver certain educational materials on the website. We don’t assume that these specialists will have a constant presence on the website.

IV. How you pay

The prices displayed on the website do not include VAT, which is to be added to the displayed price, considering the conditions of the fiscal laws that apply.

The payment can be made online, via card, via the payment processors integrated and available on the platform, by following the payment steps and instructions received.

We are not liable if the payment is not processed correctly. We are not liable for the errors occurring with the payment system, including but not limited to any damage that you might suffer while using the card payment system.

You may benefit from various discounts or other sort of benefits. These benefits will be made available to the public by being posted on the website and via the promotion channels chosen by the lifelongeducation.tech team.

We offer a 30 days satisfaction guarantee for every payment. For conditions and details, please see section XI. Guarantees and the right to withdraw.

V. Responsibility and Limitations

We cannot ensure the continuous and uninterrupted use of the website. Errors, faults, viruses or other damaging behaviours might occur in the application or the server, rendering the service unavailable. We will take all the possible measures to limit and remedy any unpleasant event in the shortest time possible. It is in our best interest to ensure a coherent and correct operation of the services, for our customer’s satisfaction. You are not allowed to intervene in the operation of the app nor to take any intervention measures concerning our informatics equipment, regardless of the reason and the end result.

By creating and using the user account, you assume liability for keeping your account data (user and password) confidential and for managing the access to your account, being legally liable for the activity carried out in your account.

By accessing the website, creating an account, using the web app, etc., the user explicitly and clearly accepts the Terms and Conditions of the website, in its latest version communicated on the website. After the account is created, the user can use the account for as long as he/she accepts all the subsequent changes made to the Terms and Conditions of the application and/or of the updated Terms and Conditions on the website. You are responsible to check the updated version of the Terms and Conditions every time you use lifelongeducation.tech.

The acceptance of the Terms and Conditions is confirmed by checking the appropriate box on the landing/register/checkout page.

We cannot be held responsible for damage caused to your computer/smartphone or for viruses that might infect your computer/smartphone or any other device as a result of you accessing and using our website.

We are not responsible for any prejudice, loss, claim, indirect damage, incident or any other consequence resulting from or in any way connected to any use of lifelongeducation.tech or of the content, data, materials or information found on the website.

This exemption from liability applies to any damage or prejudice caused by the lack of performance, error, omission, interruption, elimination, fault, operation or transmission delay, computer/smartphone virus, communication line defect, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, change or use of recordings, breach the contract, damaging behaviour, negligence or based on any cause of action.

VI. Complaint

All dissatisfactions related to the access to, use of, registration on our website will be communicated to us directly on the e-mail address: hello@lifelongeducation.tech

Your complaint is recorded and within 72 hours, reported to a working day, you will receive a written reply on the same e-mail address.

The user declares that he/she agrees not to make any complaint public (on social networks, media, private party discussions or by any means) subject to covering the damage caused by these actions to the website holder’s reputation.

Any complaint is to be filed within 15 days from the date on which the complained situation was first detected.

VII. Intellectual property

The content of the lifelongeducation.tech website, including but not limited to the concept, name, description, logo, images, stylised representation, symbols, photos, text content, information, materials included in the program, know-how, content, structure, techniques, processes and their adaptation, management and such, are the exclusive property of Lifelong Education Srl. It is forbidden to copy, distribute, publish, change, complement, use, expose, include, connect, transmit, remove markings, photos, images, text fragments, display, sell, etc. the content, data, information, photos or other information gained by using lifelongeducation.tech, without the explicit written consent of Lifelong Education Srl. It is forbidden to transmit to any third party the password used by you to access the lifelongeducation.tech app.

Accessing and using the app does not offer to any user the right or license to use any information in the app. None of the users is entitled to use an automated or manual device to monitor the information available in lifelongeducation.tech.

VIII. Personal data processing

We would like to remind you that Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel are installed on the website (in the future possibly other tracking scripts, too). Please also consult the Confidentiality Policy and the Cookie Policy.

IX. Act of God

None of the contract parties is held responsible for the untimely and/or inappropriate – complete or partial – fulfilment of any contractual obligations if the untimely or inappropriate fulfilment of a certain obligation is caused by an act of God, as it is defined by the law, for reasons the parties cannot be held responsible for.

X. Applicable law

The contract is governed and interpreted in compliance with the Romanian law. Any misunderstanding occurring between the holder of the website and the user, in terms of the relation resulting from the use of the website will be solved amicably and, when not possible, the situation is subject to the evaluation of the competent courts with subject-matter jurisdiction in Cluj-Napoca.

XI. Guarantees and the right to withdraw

Because our clients’ satisfaction is important to us, our society offers special guarantees for the services offered via this website. You can access these guarantees with a simple notification sent via email to our sales office (hello@lifelongeducation.tech). Our operators will register your notification and will process it as soon as possible, so you can get your money back for the services you’re no longer fully satisfied with. To reimburse your money, you might need to provide specific data such as the IBAN account, bank, SWIFT code, holder’s name, other information. In case you do not provide the required information, we are unable to reimburse your money.

Our guarantee is 100%, meaning that if you are not satisfied with lifelongeducation.tech within 30 days after buying our services, you can withdraw from the contract and receive all your money back.

The right to withdraw from the contract is active for 30 calendar days, starting from the date when the service was paid, and can only be used once per person. Precisely, we do not allow the creation of successive accounts, with successive withdrawals and the subsequent reimbursement of the paid services for the same user. Please bear in mind that lifelongeducation.tech is a website that provides services that exist prior to your registration on the site. According to Art. 16, lit. a) of OUG 34/2014, subsequently amended and supplemented, the service contracts are excepted from withdrawal when the services have been fully provided and if the execution was started with the consumer’s explicit accord and after the consumer’s confirmation that he/she is aware he/she will lose his/her withdrawal right after the provider’s complete execution of the contract.

If you want to use your withdrawal right, all you need to do is to communicate your clear intention to do so via email at hello@lifelongeducation.tech We kindly ask you to communicate your personal data in full, the type of services you wish to withdraw from and their price, as well as the bank account details for the reimbursement, should you opt for bank transfer as a solution to reimburse your money.

You will receive a confirmation of your withdrawal request on your email as soon as possible. The withdrawal request will be approved and honoured only when it falls within the 30 calendar days limit starting with the registration.

At the same time, the guarantee, as well as the withdrawal request will be approved only if you haven’t registered any other similar request on the lifelongeducation.tech website.

XII. Final provisions

Your utilization of lifelongeducation.tech is subject to the observance of the general terms and conditions presented above. Should you choose to visit and access the services provided by lifelongeducation.tech you hereby confirm that you know and accept these Terms and Conditions in full, in the updated version available when the app is accessed.

We are entitled to change the Terms and Conditions at any time, without any previous notification, by posting the updated version on the site / in the application. You undertake to read the Terms and Conditions every time you access lifelongeducation.tech. You undertake to strictly observe the Terms and Conditions of lifelongeducation.tech and may not allege that you are not familiarised with these or use this allegation as defence.

We reserve the right to change the structure and interface of any page or subpage of lifelongeducation.tech at any time and at any time interval we choose, being entitled to temporarily, partially or totally interrupt the services provided to our customers via the application, without any prior individual or general notification.
