Lifelong Education Srl has the capacity of Controller, with the professional office in Cluj Napoca, G-ral Traian Mosoiu Street nr.16, Cluj county, Romania, recorded at the Trade Register Office attached to the Cluj Court under no. J12/593/17.02.2020, VAT-ID 42269170.

We might transfer the personal data you provide to us to affiliated companies and/or to other partners and collaborators, with whom we have contractual relations in order to carry out our activities and to fulfil our legal obligations. The transfer of personal data to third parties takes place based on a confidentiality commitment on their behalf and a commitment to ensure data protection.

2. The type of personal data we process

The personal data we process are: surname, first name, address, email address, IP. Data referring to the address is collected and processed for invoicing purposes. To make the payment, you will be automatically directed to the payment processor page, which will collect your bank card data and other data necessary for the payment. The Controller has the right to process personal data for the purposes presented above:

  • because data processing is necessary to allow the creation of an account, the functioning of lifelongeducation.tech and access to the services provided by lifelongeducation.tech (conclusion of remote sales agreement), payment of service costs and providing answers to the complaints submitted, if applicable
  • because you gave your express consent by checking the afferent boxes (if applicable)
  • if data processing is not necessary for the conclusion and performance of our legal relations, we do not process personal data for any of the above mentioned purposes without your consent for this purpose, given by checking the corresponding boxes

5. Storage period and personal data processing

We process and store your personal data for the period necessary for the fulfilment of the purposes for which the data was collected and, in any case, for the period imposed by the legal applicable regulations.

We aim to revise and regularly update (basically, every year) our database so that we do not store data that is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.

The right to rectifications - if you notice that your personal data processed by us is incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate, you can rectify it or can supplement it by sending a simple rectification request to the email address: hello@lifelongeducation.tech.

The right to delete data ("right to be forgotten") - if the data was not processed legally or in other cases set out by the law you can delete it yourself or you can achieve their deletion by sending us a request to the email address: hello@lifelongeducation.tech. Data deletion will occur within maximum 30 days from the date of the request and the collected data will be eliminated from the backup files within 30 days from the date of deletion. The deletion of data can take place in any of the following situation:

  • a) we no longer need the personal data for the fulfilment of any purposes for which we previously processed it;
  • b) you withdraw your consent based on which we previously processed your data and there is no other legal ground on which we can base a future processing;
  • c) you oppose data processing when we process the data for direct marketing purposes (including profiling for direct marketing purposes)
  • d) you oppose the processing of data based on our legitimate interest and we cannot prove that we have legitimate reasons which justify the processing and which prevail over your interests, rights and freedoms;

  • a) we have to comply with legal obligations to store the data;

The right to restrict processing – you can request the restriction of data processing if:

  • a) you contest the accuracy of data for a period which allows us to check data accuracy;
  • b) the processing is illegal, but you oppose to the deletion of personal data and in exchange you request restriction;
  • c) if the Controller does not need your personal data for processing purposes, but you request it in order to observe, exercise or defend a right in court or before the arbitration authorities;
  • d) if you opposed processing, for the period of time during which we check if our legitimate rights prevail over your rights.

The right to oppose - you can oppose especially to the processing of data which is founded on our legitimate interest.

The right to data portability - you can receive, under certain condition, the personal data you provided to us and it will be forwarded to you in form of JSON by email, within 30 days from your request or you can request the data to be transferred to another controller.

The right to submit a complaint - you can submit a compliant about personal data processing to the National Authority for the Supervision of Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP). You can find the contact details and information about ANSPDCP on the website: http://www.dataprotection.ro/.

The right to withdraw a consent - if the processing is founded on your consent, you can withdraw it any time. The withdrawal of a consent will produce effects only in the future, the processing carried out before the withdrawal remains valid.

The right not to be subject to automatic decisions or supplementary profiling when it comes to automatic decisions: you can request and obtain human intervention concerning the respective processing or you can express your own opinion about this kind of processing.
